The Countdown

We are now 40 days from our departure date to Europe! Time is flying by and it feels like we have so much left to do. We know it will all come together in the end and we will have a fabulous time. We have confirmed all accomodations in the cities we will be staying in which is a huge relief. CouchSurfing has proved to be an exciting and adventurous task...needless to say, we are very anxious to meet our hosts. We decided to splurge in one city---we will be staying in a wonderfully cozy B&B in Venice. It seems for every day that ticks by there are ten new things we want to see or do. As we will certainly not be able to see everything there is to see, it is comforting to know a second trip will be made sometime in the future :) Until next time, arrivederci!

New Year

We rang in 2011 with friends, fun and freezing weather! It was a great night. Before watching our Broncos and Cardinals fail (so long 2010!) we embarked on making vegan tamales...wowzers, they are good!


 
We expect 2011 to be an exciting year! On March 7th, we will be leaving on a three week, whirlwind trip to Europe. Needless to say, we are counting down the days! We will be blogging on our trip and welcome any and all to follow our progress while we are there. Stay tuned for updates.
